Lovely small restaurant that has an intimate atmosphere and flexible, friendly service. The carefully prepared fine cuisine with an oriental touch is a refreshing alternative amongst the traditional French restaurants.

The famed L’Assiette Champenois became my favorite restaurant in the region already on my first visit. The modern, warm ambience and the spacious terrace create a suitable atmosphere for the fine tuned cuisine that has great purity of flavours and a subtle international touch. The young chef Arnaud Lallement has already gained two Michelin stars for the restaurant. Most recommendable!

I have eaten here more times than in any other Champagne restaurant. Bistro type cosy and populated atmosphere with traditional French cuisine. One cannot go wrong with this one and it is not overly expensive.

The best hotel, fine dining restaurant and bistro combination in town. The comfortable and cosy bistro offers great value and a nice wine list. The fine dining restaurant is very French in its cuisine and service, however it still manages to create a very pleasant atmosphere.

One of Vienna’s top restaurants with a well-deserved Michelin star. The chef cooks sophisticated food from top quality luxurious ingredients. We tried the 7 course surprise menu which had everything from oysters to goose liver and braised veal cheeks in it. The staff, including sommelier Thomas Breitweiter, did a wonderful job! Don’t forget to ask for the Wine Bible – the most massive wine list with all the collectables.

Wonderful summer restaurant for eating outside. However, in the winter the service is apparently better and atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The restaurant has a good list of the top wine names from Knoll to Prager, Hirzberger and Pichler… you name it.

Every time in Vienna one simply needs to have the Figlmüller Schnitzel. Prepare to queue and sit next to strangers at this classical schnitzel place. The schnitzel is made – contrary to the custom – out of pork meat. The menu has only a handful of choices and do not even try to order Coke. Wine is also best avoided.
